Jeshin, they said straight up that, regardless of anonymity, if an adult entices a child into even text-based sexual acts, regardless of whether or not they know it's a child, then it's child enticement - and that child has been victimized regardless of anonymity. yes, and your failure to report a crime is also a crime. So why is it you suddnly "discovered" this was going on for years when you got complaints for spamcrafting? When you yourself were a victim of it a decade or so ago? Why didnt children getting text-raped bothr you when nobody complained about how much you emoted during craftng? Searching for articles of choir boys who went to jail for not automatically reporting priest fiddlings, and I'm not seeing anything, sorry. |

Really? Where does it say that in the law? Youre the only person in this thread claimng to be a witness to these crimes. Whch makes you the only person confrmed to be actively failng to report a crime. All because you might make another merchant some day. Really. why is that worth mor to you than a childs safety?

Claiming to be witness to the crimes? I shared two personal anecdotes. OF CRIMES. and you've also repeatedly proven Arm is enablng the same crimes to happen. Therfore you are aware of a crime (multiple really) against children and are failng to report it. |

Are you seriously trying to scare me about getting arrested for starting a discussion about child abuse/statutory rape?
Listen up, neckbeard... I have a hundred dollars that says I've been arrested more times than every little shithead in this thread, combined. So, take that shit somewhere else.
What I am going to do is talk with some of the other agencies that the hotline put me in touch with and get all the facts. Then we'll see what happens.
Admittedly, you have a point about not reporting crimes that have witnesses, but again, I think this would be more in the realm or staff who are able to monitor the game, and not a regular player who maintained almost ZERO OOC contact with other players for the better part of a decade.

Evn though failure to report child abuse is a crime. And youre just pissd off to be the only admtted criminal in ths thread. Because ignoranc of the law about reportng child abuse is no excuse to the law.

A few pople told you to report them. and you refusd. So i'm lettng you know that you're committing a crime. And you're doing it in the same manner as all the priests you keep bringing up who allowd choir boys to be raped.
so how is it wrong i point out you're letting it happen while claiming youre somehow above the law because you don't run Arm? Thats not a requiremnt. if you know of crimes being committed against children by Arm youre legally required to report them. Even if you want to play another merchant again some day. and dont want to take shit for your emote frequency.

Yes, both are crims. I've never claimed otherwise. But youre pretending the child acts youre not reporting are real crimes but your failure to report them isn't a real crime. both are real crimes. And you're enabling children to be textually violated.

Breaking my own rule about dropping a thread, but the level of stupid coming off Kronibas is painful.
I called that hotline and I spoke to them and I laid out 3 examples both in MUD, RP chatroom, and MMO (like WoW) and asked some clarifying questions to be sure. They said specifically that it was not child enticement. Is it something else? Maybe? Is Kronibas an idiot that is just spouting whatever supports his rage boner in this thread, yes.
1. RPing sex with a minor (example: Bob ass rapes a 12 year old) <---- Considered Child Enticement
2. RPing sex with the OOC intent of finding a minor partner (example: Bob gives the 50 year old grandma a good time.... OOC: Are you under 18? Yes? Good?) <---- Considered Child Enticement
3. RPing sex, cybering, and even co-operative fanfiction writing are not considered child enticement in an anonymous environment.
So then it becomes do you believe Kronibas or me more? Or do you not care, you shouldn't care because when I finished the call they're like did you want to report something or is that all you were asking? I'm like do you think I should? They're like no.
