I've been playing since I was 14, and I often get angry and uncomfortable when I think about how I was used for sexual purposes when I was way, way underage.
With one of my first characters, I befriended a Byn sergeant named Kroz, who I made friends with over AIM. Both were going after the same female gypsy character.
Well, the player of Kroz sent me an OOC message from that female player, saying she didn't want anything to do with my char because all I did was "lay there and talk." Umm, I was 14 years old, so sorry for not accommodating your sexual fantasies, gross 40-something lady.
Another thing that happened was when my character Cidsarl Kadius was having romantic relations with a character known as "Pearl." Yes, that Pearl.
Well, when Pearl's player figured out that I was only 15, she freaked the fuck out, to her credit. To assure her that I was "mature," I sent her a pic of me in my high school prom suit over AIM, and well, it had the opposite effort than I intended, heh.
I realize that that there are protections in place for hosting patrons and not being responsible for the content they post, but really, it pisses me off when I think back to all of that. Exploiting kids seems like something that should be punishable, regardless of whether it's text based or any of that.
I was only 14.
Can anyone give me the skinny on laws about stuff like this? Sorry, I just do not think that it's cool, period. I've had a long time to think about it, and nothing about any of that seems cool, insofar as ethics go.

If an adult is lied to by a 16 year old and has sex with them anyway, is ignorance an excuse?
OOC communication bans in game make this hard to convey, so no, I did not go around telling people my age in-game.
But, I did post pictures of myself on forums, and it should have been clear that I was a minor.

It's not cool. That's not what Armageddon is about.
As a result, I have went about ten years with all of two sexual episodes, one of which was fade to black involving reanimated corpses and the other which was in 2007 with someone I knew OOCly.

edit: and I am not trying to threaten anyone, or insuate that I am going to stir up a shitstorm with authorities... Or any of that. I'm not. My life is filled with too much bullshit and tragedy and pain to start some kind of witch hunt like that.
but, I think this is something worth reflecting on.
Edit: especially if you're currently engaged in mudsexing and still play. I mean, come on, way more people than we would be comfortable acknowledging are probably guilty of simulating sex acts with minors on ArmageddonMUD. This is something that players should be cognizant of and uhhh not fucking do, ever, or ever again if they're guilty of it.

Dude, if you were fourteen, and going around in a pretend verse being sexually active in a game that specifically outlines its design being for adults, you can't claim they're to blame. If you tell them 'I'm fourteen in reality' and they continue, sure. But you not telling them and assuming they're responsible for anything...that's on you. That's the equivalent of suing some porn site because you're a fourteen year old with access to the internet who ignored the 'adults here' thing. Don't be silly.
Point being, if you're a fuckwad who's where you shouldn't be, doing things you shouldn't be doing, other people who are -completely- ignorant aren't to blame(cept maybe your parents, but hey. Lawyers, am I right?). If they ignored anything else wise, that's their fault, but otherwise, yea. And that whole 'I had a picture up' thing can be bullshit as well. Assuming you aren't a total liar(we'll assume) and you are this big burly motherfucker in some mountains somewhere(I vaguely remember something about this, but I could be wrong, you could be the military man or whatever), maybe when you were fifteen, they were giving you the benefit of the doubt and assuming you were eighteen and had a baby face. Been there. *scratches beard that still won't quite grow perfectly* ...and that's assuming anyone even gave a shit enough to look at your forum picture.
As to the whole 'I'm thirteen or fourteen in game' thing, come off it. It wasn't a hundred fifty years ago in reality and by the age of like sixteen most people were married and settled with the person they'd be with for the rest of their lives. Best I can tell, Armageddon average life expectancy is like age...whatever you start at +a year. Most people don't live to be old. In my mind, that's gonna equate to a lot of people at like 15 years old needing to have children just to feed all the tarantula out west of Allanak and the kryl northwest of Tuluk. If you don't have a dog in this fight(thanks Lulz) I rest it, but that other shit's on you.
Oh, and as to the whole, 'you shouldn't do it because it's accepting that in reality, or allowing it on a base level' in regards to your whole sexuality with minors thing, I'll listen to you when I see you protesting the violence in the COD franchise among all the other multi-million(billion?) gaming industries that rely on crazy violence to sell.

I suppose there's two things that work with this happening.
Firstly, just how bad do you really consider this? It involves no physical contact, anonymity, and stepping away from sexual RP is easy and affects nothing at all for in-game RP. The age of consent varies wildly between various countries and even jurisdictions, and you could even make the case that Arm can be tame enough that none of this applies.
The second problem is enforcement. Just how do you propose that Arm's staff even keep this kind of thing in line, if they are even interested in that? Should they impose a ban on everyone who happens to bang a char belonging to someone who's underage, knowing this or not? Are they going to verify everyone's identity papers to really make sure that yes, they are underage? Do all characters played by underage people need to receive flags that peg them down as underage-played? Do two sixteen-year-olds getting it on deserve a ban together? And just why is banging underage characters if not players okay?
MUDs depict some weird shit and internet anonymity makes questionable behavior easy. Nothing new under the sun.

Here's the skinny on the law.
Having text sex with minors is fine, as long as it's not repeatedly rejected (I.e. harassment; by virtue of you continuing to mudsex you were giving your consent to the situation) and as long as it's fantasy (I.e. RP with different characters or personas other than oneself). If they had ended up at your house and wanted to smex you, they'd be breaking state and federal age laws (unless you live in a state where the AoC is 14).
It's your actions that brought on the scenario, and it isn't illegal in the first place. There's absolutely no case there at all. The people you would accuse have plausible deniability. Even if you have logs, etc. proving they diddled your character textually, it's not a crime.
Don't compare this to women getting raped and victim blaming going "they asked for it" because I might flip out.
TL;DR you're a honeytrap and there's no legal basis there. I know because I'm a pedophile IRL and that's why I play Arm.
