You'll have to point out where in the codedump this is supported. I mean, I'm pretty confident that it's not.

It's far too small a sample size. Great, let's have a look at your data then? /sarcasm sneazy, did you ever take a science class my man? Did you? Manners, Bro. I'd take two humans, one with 10 strength and 19 agility, the other with 19 strength and 10 agility. Do it, Funboy! You'll have to point out where in the codedump this is supported. No he doesn't. Manners! Come up with your own data or stop criticizing Brother's methodology.

No he doesn't. Manners! Come up with your own data or stop criticizing Brother's methodology. What do you mean methodology? signifyinmonkey implied via anecdote that etwo's damage bonus is check related. lechuck says that is not supported by the code at all. Overall a really shitty and low quality post, trollageddon. Manners, Brother! Check out these 28 inch pythons, Brother!

I'm not offended. If I was interested in the problem I would take JCarter's approach. Map all the functions with matlab (still have an old version running).
I'm more interested in getting this solo version up and running so anyone can test out their pet theories about the code to their hearts content.

No, ibusoe's project is completely different and not specifically related to Armageddon. They're talking about a separate project that has been in the works (though its been playable for quite a while) for a couple of years. I don't know if ibusoe is still working on his potential MUD. Mr. Pink is correct. I've stopped working on this. Rather than be mysterious, I'll just admit that mostly I want to have a serious girlfriend and running a MUD would most likely block this. I don't think it's a coincidence that only a few months after Nyr got hitched, he stepped down from the game. Was kind of shy about bringing this up because I didn't want you guys to think I had gone soft. I'm working at a startup and trying to finish writing a book. I'd say it's a time issue, but realistically it's a focus issue. I wouldn't want to do a crappy job on something like this. If I had to name a successor project, maybe the hacked version of Arm that's getting off the ground? I'll lend that my endorsement. I plan to make a character once it boots. If somebody needed some rooms written for a MUD, or maybe some help getting CoffeeMUD running, I could do that. CoffeeMUD was fairly painless. I'm still here and plan to resume playing MUDs in the near future, but I don't want to be in charge of anything. Thanks again for your interest, sorry if my absence seemed mysterious.

The way I read the code, etwo always gives the damage bonus. I'd guess the attack speed is what the skill checks for. The code has a chunk of text for various damage bonuses and the etwo bonus is stated right there without any conditionals. That's my feeling too. It calls some externals that aren't in the codeump though. I'd caution though that etwo behavior I've seen in game (anecdotally) seems pretty disconnected from what I read the code as.
