Dark Sun.. also, you guys need to have a couple of eastern people playing, else there is change this game will turn into an Arthurian fantasy/Amercian zombie-apocalypse theme.

No one wants more representation, I am just teasing a bit. Let me be more specific. To clarify I am Turkish, not eastern enough for Dark Sun. Some Bedouin would do better. We have been around. I know more then 10+ people playing ARM here and there. Not really enough to make real change, but no doubt they made some influence. Dark Sun has a lot from Middle-Eastern Culture, so does ARM anyway. But players are mostly Americans, so culture of the game at least between players is mostly western influenced. From my point of view, you guys no idea how to bribe (nothing to be proud of but, well..), how to scorn, even how to communicate in subtle ways. No doubt, there are always very smart and interculturally competent people out there before black screen, creating very good scenes and being out of box, but usually it's cheap western drama style. Don't misunderstand, I enjoy it no doubt, that's why I still play the game after 15 years, but well, time to time something consired quality RP in ARM, does not look that way to me. |

Recruit as many locals as you can!... Just make sure they don't do something horrible with their RP like use the word "mister." |

My girlfriend says I play to escape reality and gets sad because she thinks it's a rejection of her....
I think I play because I have played for so long and am emotionally invested in wanting to accomplish unfulfilled IC goals.
