Carrying on a long standing tradition, the shadowboard's shadowspeak congregation has moved to Discord. Perks:

It's very recommended that you download the app. This will allow for easier connections, remembered preferences, and easier voice chatting / text chatting.
But Purg, why/how are the IP addresses hidden?
Because Discord is a "gamer's chatroom". The old standards (ts3, mumble) publicly display IP addresses for every client that connects; this was vulnerable to direct LOIC or botnet targeting, crunching up the poor guy's connection that you might be playing against. Discord was specifically founded to stop that, along with other things.
But Purg, the other room is just fine. Why are you saying to join this one?
Because the other room is dead. Also, nobody technically has moderation powers over there. Using this new room will allow me to clean up some of the conversations, so that nobody is targeted by the staff team or other sycophants reading through. Trying to look out for you guys.
- Modular moderation.
- Tiers of allows and privs.
- Encrypted, hidden IP addresses! Even I won't be able to know your IP. It's completely hidden from you, me, and the staff.
