All I know of that situation was they had the chance to go "Whoopps, not dead recruits, just sleepy recruits! Mon cast staff Resurrection!"
But noooooo, staff failed, made a bone head mistake with code and couldn't be bothered to correct it to try and safe face.
That made me always want to avoid that trinity of fuckery. I indeed hope those three leave Armageddon alone.

I have spent a lot of the day reading back over posts from when I was working constantly at 3 jobs last summer... there are some really good threads.
It really looks like Nyr and others just really got nailed here all last summer for shit they were pulling.
Thing is, they had been pulling that shit all along... it's just that, at long last, there was a place for players to come and call bullshit without being banned.
I am just shocked at the wealth of horror tales and bullshit tales from last summer.

Man, I have been reading this AoD thread forever. It's really, really good and pretty damn informative. Looks like I had posted a couple of times on it, but taking the time to go back and read through every post is good.
If anything, it reminds me that some pretty sharp people write here. It helps me remember *just how fucked* Nyr and his buddies were, and really, it shows that some things are still the same. Or maybe, what areas still need to be worked on would be a better, less combative way to phrase that.
Nyr leaving this game has not been a magic cure, but it has at least opened the way for change... but I feel like that change won't be immediate; it will take some smarts, tenacity, and not being a total jackass to begin to reverse some of the damage caused in the reign of Nyr.
Undoubtedly, reversals in policy and what has happened need to occur; he's gone for a reason, and he has left the well poisoned. Since some of his friends/followers are still around, it's not going to be the easiest thing to purge the well of bullshit. But it needs to happen.

Triple P gave up a lot because he felt some other players were wronged. I'm still remembering when people acted like he was the bad guy. He gave up any future of karma, future roles, a character he put a lot of effort into.

Extremely, it would of been the easiest thing to fix too.

People would of applauded the RPT. Yet... no.

I think the staff animating the HG was was sorta screwy... they couldn't even get the room echoes right. That whole thing was just a big shitshow.
