So, I replied to malken being snarky with implying that Nyr is gone because of the shadowboards.
At first they said it was the next to final ban. But then they changed it and said it's the final one.
Because I acknowledged that this board had something to do with him being gone, replying to malken being a troll.
Here's a clue:
Nothing changed when Nyr left, guys.
His cronnies are still very much in control over there... and they are actually probably worse than he was.
Have fun with ArmageddonMUD. Nyr leaving didn't do shit.

Staff recently informed me that they were seriously considering giving my one karma back, before one of you asshats reported me for poking fun at Ruke, who, truth be told, was quite a character. Well staff, whatever plot you had in mind, I in no way ruined it, but it is what it is.

i still had all my karma sans sorcerer/psionicist before coming to this board.
Never player killed with a high karma character even... out of nearly TWENTY YEARS... think about that. Don't see what they were worried about... it is just a matter of spite, grumble.
the only real PK's I've ever done... were with merchants *facepalm*
but go ahead and try to say that it's about the danger of using karma to grief people. it is just mind games and control games. and out of spite. i never even discussed the economy code here or posted spoilers, which is what i really know a lot about on Arm. I never posted spoilers or anything.
they took my karma for one reason - to spite me after having stood up for myself and others to call bullshit.
i could have shut the fuck up and kept my karma, but there is only so much a person can take from a joke like Nyr.

95% of time on my long lived characters... is from playing merchants.
not because I necessarily LIKE playing them that much... but they are the best class for facilitating roleplay, interaction... all that shit.
it's like playing a damn healer.... someone has to do it, but hardly anyone wants to, and lots of people who try, frankly, suck at it.
I had applied for that Kurac apprentice agent app as a merchant but then withdrew it when I saw Nergal defending staff members acting contemptuously toward this board. i realized that it was just stupid to even apply for it despite having played more successful merchant PCs than the vast majority of people on this damn game.

but then when harar was trying to make a cloak for Koman Locke, they changed all the words except "hooded" and "aba"... because they didn't want us to start a clan. would have put too much IC power in the hands of people staff doesn't like OOCly, for OOC reasons.
you come up with shit people like, and the haters on staff will find a way to sabotage you, keep you out of their clans, etc. it's really like that.

i haven't even turned my phone on in five days. dont want to talk to anyone. dont want to read texts or a couple of dozen facebook messages that are sitting unread in my inbox. i was happy just immersing myself in this stupid game but the OOC bullshit always gets in the way.

I've done a good job on that game except for times when OOC bullshit caused problems. that was my point, jerk.
and as you can see from this board, i'm far from the only one who had those problems.
Imms try to say they are starting over and doing better... but then they punish people for having stood up for themselves.
it's not about being a martyr. it's about common fucking decency if you want people besides newbies to keep playing the game.
