LMAO... If this was automated quackery then obviously that stupid shit needs fixed. And it's also quite telling of how the player-base perceives staff when even good players like Ibusoe assume staff are being jerks even when they're not actually being malicious. However, if it was just a ban from the GDB then I don't understand why this was made into a big deal. I've been banned from the GDB numerous times. |

One time I used a VPN to post on the GDB for a while. Turned out that VPN had specifically been flagged as a source of spambots. I didn't get banned. An admin asked me to stop using a VPN for that reason, and still didn't suspend my forum account or anything. That was in 2014, not the distant past. It seems odd that others would get outright banned for changing IPs, without even posting, and without using VPNs flagged as spambot channels. No forum does that, I've never heard of such a thing.

Somedays I wish there was a way to tell some one "Your staffing sucks." with out threats of banning/karma docking. I wonder what would happen if eveyone just logged a staff complaint enmass on somebody. Would they drop the staffer? Seidhr is an example. I believe some one commented that Morin's Tavern is more populated than the Gaj most nights. |
