Yeah I'm with teatowel on this. There's nothing you did wrong in your tale above so it's either something else you did that really got under their skin or it's a mistake. Almost always when players are banned it comes accompanied with an email from whichever imm enjoys gloating the most at the time. What you've described sounds more like an automated message.

I agree with Teatowel. You'd moved, become inactive in the game and on the GDB, all of a sudden they start seeing your GDB account logged in under IP addresses in totally different parts of the country. They probably blocked it pending your contacting them to make sure it really was you logging in, to protect your account.

Wouldn't they put that in the message? I mean it can't be reliably automated. If they're just suspending accounts without any forward explanation in this current environment of heightened criticism... that feels like a mistake to me from an administrative standpoint.
