I wonder if half-giants have natural armor similarly to dwarves.

defense + race acting upon weight + quality for instance, there is a blue vest with plates on it sold at a tent in nakki bazaar, 800 sids. 2 stones but protective due to top quality also, 40 stone bone breastplates are protective too, despite being of low quality (low price) also, fake/gith armors have a modifier too, perhaps through the quality, or a direct impact strategy with armor: I'd go with the TOP TOP TOP heavy armor possible, and weight yourself down naturally (so you wouldn't have to carry weights in inventory) that's how I encumbered by low strength warriors. That's a fast way to boost your defense + combat skills without violating the code. You can always RP it out as if your character prioritized protection or over sensitive about getting injured, so he endures these weights.. Then at day 40, drop the armor, you won't need it. a full pack: 60 stones 2 full pouched belts: 30 stones 2 full pouches: 2 stones ankle spikes: 8 stones horror visaged helmet: 25 stone some chitin neckguard i forgot: 9 stones chainmail duskhorn: 30 stones mekillot armguard: 30 stones some 5 stone bracers, forgot which greaves: 25 stones chitin banded: 10 stones 1 huntin bag 60 stones there you go, extremely heavy Your weapon and off/def skill gains are now penalized, if you are overencumbered.

They are penalized, but they happen. That's better than absolutely no misses.

HGs do not have natural armor. I know this with 100% certainty. Only certain races get natural armor and this armor is irrespective of endurance. Defense will make more hits glance however.

HGs just have big HPs, so take bigger hits more frequently and live longer, leading to better defence, further, huge HG str allows wearing full horror. I recall Albie being one dodgy fuck, man I miss that HG.

Yeah, Albie with that huge shield of his blocked at least 60% of things coming his way, and that's before parry and dodge. I don't even know how he died, probably killing a horror himself or something.

I think he stored or something, actually. I don't remember him "dying", but I remember hearing something IG about him "leaving to take care of sick parents" or some such thing. Maybe that was a hiatus cover story though. But yeah, stuff bounced off of him all day e'eryday.

Albie was like, the prince of half-giants, but fuck Albie's player blowing their fucking potential playing Albie. I think it's better he's free of that horrible role.

Also, fuck Ruke, he can either fix something, or pretend there isn't a problem.

Fixing Luir's crimcode is not really a problem to be addressed, considering the amount of PCs killed in Luir's for dumb reasons, however, is, and it's easily recognized, just don't be such a douche.

Allowing exile/banishment from Luir's could make roleplay situations more interesting.
Also, armor is basically all about weight. The heavier it is and the better the material, the better the armor. The trick is finding quality materials, the most protective armor is usually the heaviest.
