Honestly Sirra, I think Nessalin's assessment of your behavior is spot on from what I've read of your posts here and on the GDB. Go read what you wrote yesterday about Adhira if you want an example of what's not cool to say.
Not sure if I agree with you being banned for it though.

I'm not saying I disagree with your arguments. Most of them I think have some merit. I do disagree with the way you raise those arguments at times though. Honestly it's kind of comical, but Nessalin's advice that maybe you should sit on a post for an hour before submitting it isn't a bad idea.

In that case, prior to any investigation, or even checking what had gone wrong...And in response to a very mild complaint of mine where I objected to the nature of my post being edited without my permission (and even apologized in the complaint, if it had been done accidentally), he still summarily rejected it. Later, Eury claimed he had accidentally edited my post (apparently, the only time that's ever happened on the GDB in ten years), but still. It'd have been nice if Nessalin had at least waited for Eury to chime in on the complaint, before he closed it, yes? Say, perhaps, waited an hour even? |

He shouldn't have use profanity in his reply. It's unprofessional and sends the wrong message about the people who are the face of the game.
With that being said, your responses are just too blunt for that community my man.
I'm not saying I agree or disagree with your points of view.
I am saying that you are perhaps....too honest (?)...and do not soften your replies enough for that community.
It is what it is in that regard. You were banned because you do not fit in there based on the fact you are too combative and aggressive for those people.
Do I think that maybe they should toughen up a bit and grow a thicker skin?
Yes I do.
But that isn't going to happen...So you sort of have to work within the realm of reality and not the realm of "how I think it should be", if you want to be part of that situation.
With that being said, I'm sorry to see someone get banned from the GDB in a way that an unprofessional message was sent by staff in the process.
That's just not the way to do things. |

Yup. Kind of got what you deserved there. Nessalin can be snarky, but in my experiences he's rarely arbitrary about it.

I should probably have made two separate threads, because people here seem to have reading comprehension issues. The quote in the post was from months ago. I had made a post, and then Eury had accidentally deleted/edited it, to say something snarky making fun of it. Naturally, given my experience with Armageddon staff, I thought it was deliberate. I complained about it. Nessalin, who had read and disagreed with the original post, immediately dismissed my complaint, by sending what I quoted above. Afterwards, Eury said that he had mistakenly deleted and edited my post, and it was restored by Nyr. But Nyr refused to admit that Nessalin had been wrong in closing the complaint before even asking Eury if it was a mistake. So before you all jump on the 'fuck sirra' bandwagon, at least get your facts straight before telling me what I 'deserve'. Cuntsmack. |

I'm sorry you were banned, sirra, especially in such a snarky manner. I was hoping that with all the feedback they've been getting lately, (certain) staff might at least try to put on a more professional face, even with people they don't like. It's disappointing to see they're still taking the "we're only rude to you if you deserve it, and you deserve it" approach.
I have some things I could say about the way you conduct yourself, but in the end the way you come off is a lot less important than the way staff comes off, so it's not really important. I think the GDB ban was harsh, but it's the way it was handled that irks me most, and that has nothing to do with what you did or didn't do to earn it.

I don't think we should hold the staff to higher standards then we hold ourselves in terms of being civil human beings. Being a jerk shouldn't be tolerated, doesn't matter which side of the game you're on.
And Sirra, I understood your first post. I think the aggressive manner you had towards Lizzie warranted a time out, or an email saying cool it please. I don't think you should've been banned for it permanently though. It wasn't that bad.
