Fun Fact: Got all of one note on my account for Dargan, a character that was around for four real life years. It was a potentially negative one that wasn't taken off when I supplied a perfectly reasonable explanation. Gotta love that staff! Doesn't mean you only had one note. Just means that's the only note they let you see. I got notes a couple times, the first time was surprised there wasn't anything about a long-lived character. Second time there were a bunch of things on that character, the notes were dated before the first time I asked for them. |

Dargan was a dwarf, already an old dwarf when my PC met him.

weird feelings.. i think i quit too, finally. but its usually like smoking, perhaps not this time. reason being the decline on player numbers. in mh last character there were about 25 online at most 11 pm est it has been more than 10 years. i was introduced to the game by ruhi ulas (ghost) and eser while sitting at university computer lab. at fistt i thought this mud thing was the worst game ever, but then u know, it takes you. i had over 100 chars probably, twinked with the most, but rp ed with most too. its just that i like to play strong characters. interestingly, coded strength of those players were rarely used in pvp.. anyways, please feel free to pm me here to remember old days, ur good moments with some f my long lived pc s abuzer : the talon tattooed dwarf, uber pike master of all times. salarri of north first, thor later on horoz: the krathi gemmed who became a thrall, it was fun playing with staff, one of the rare periofs they interacted with me . i still remember the lovely echo i get when casting a spell. no flames erupt around you ... but sth like calling the dragons will, you channel purifying black flames rukkian gemmed bony dragon tattooed man who became plainsman sacrifice in his attempt to bacome a dragon? remember him saying to mon elemental he wanted to chose the dragons path like tektolnes. great moments black, blacky rinthi black skinned skeletal youth . was leading the rinth good but being an off peak player sucks. to the bastard who killed him when i was afk, f u.. there s no other way u could manage to kill me anyways hehe a slash marked warrior called eser. came across a stranr sword, gold streaked or somethin like that. str offense booster. made my char shout auto like "annihilatr the enemies of krum, krom ??" amazing times. tulay, the eye tattoed half giant of legions. amazing times, kudos to halfling player who killed him , was out of green tablets, ouch vurgun the breed ranger who killed countless blurs in grasslands. if u saw a quick mantis head in grasses back around 2007 8 thats probably me  alper the salarri sergeant crimson haired, lovely times.. mowr a few months in thr game, eastsider elf. pc templar caught while afk, damn i hated afk deaths.. thats what i remember |

Ha! Dargan! I loved him. Though I had to consider whether or not to kill him several times. I would love to hear more about this, it makes me chuckle. I'm sure Dargan pissed off MANY people in his time. Especially as he got older, I cared less and less if someone was going to kill him. Dargan was a Tuluki dwarven warrior/hunter. Had a varying career spanning four real life years that started I believe joining an independent hunting group in Allanak, wound up leading said group for awhile when the leader(s) died. Roamed some. Wound up in the Legions in the north, taught a ridiculous number of people to fight, made Sergeant, and was promptly stored because he was OLD AS DIRT at that point. |

Vurgun was a creepy fucker. |

It looks to me like there are a lot of people returning so it's hard to quantify the loss. Lots of new players but mostly lots of players who've been playing awhile, plus a bunch of veterans returning.
Just now in the game, a Monday night, peak time weekday.
There are 73 players currently in the world, other than yourself.
Legendary, you say "current" state of affairs "was" making you sad. You mean the state of affairs back when you quit? Or you mean the state of affairs currently is making you sad, currently? Cause the current state of affairs is a bunch of RPTs, some bigger some not as big, mostly staff-supported, mostly involving all kinds of characters, some involving secrets and some not. I don't really get anything that is "sad" about that now.

Just now in the game, a Monday night, peak time weekday. There are 73 players currently in the world, other than yourself. 'a monday night' is the beginning of a scheduled regionwide rpt 'a monday night' 'weekday' and whatever other qualifiers u want to put in immediately dont count once 'rpt' is factored in, this isnt a usual one of any of those other (i.e. monday night, weekday, etc) qualifiers |
