The Allanak RPT doesn't start til today. The Kurac RPT ended the 18th. Monday the 19th was just a weekday peaktime Monday night. As far as I know nothing spectacular was happening. If it was, I wasn't involved in it and saw lots of people around the city who were also not involved in it.

The whole being mean to ghaati thing is an inside joke, right? Hard to tell. I always assumed they were being serious. I guess it makes them feel good to put other people down. That's sort of why this forum is popular afterall. |

That's where I got the information in the first place. nice but only thing is ur trying to use a day that straddles two big rpts as a 'normal monday evening' when that is nothing but as uve got players logging in maybe to travel to where the next rpt is and also logging in to finish off preparations if they are involved, esp if it is a multiday thing the modnay ur talking about is not at all a 'normal' one and the player hike easily u can point to runoff from and buildup/prep for the rpts literally the day before and after oh and at least one person has told me kurac had another rpt this monday after the big one on the weekend not at all an average monday and the rpts before, during, and after monday explain it. just compare the stats with the next two mondays and see if the same tune is being played |

There was no Kurac rpt on Monday. The fact that you're trying to hand-wave away player-numbers just becuase there were RPT's around it looks silly as fuck. Who fucking cares. Player numbers are up, and that's good, regardless of "why".

Some unknown event happened a few months ago where ghaati abruptly started acting like a human being, which has drastically reduced the amount of incoming hate. I think this forum has had a significant impact, but around half good and half bad. You should say what the bad is. And more importantly, coming from you in particular, what the good is. I think that would do wonders for your reputation here. I don't mean that to imply you have to agree with anyone here. Posters can be pro-nyr all the way for all I care, provided they bring supporting evidence and prove they aren't being a contrarian just for contrarian's sake. See, that's where you come in. You're so much a contrarian and a naysayer for no other reason than the sheer fun of it that everyone has pointed it out and surely even you cannot deny it. Even as you're reading this there is no way that you are thinking "no that can't be true, what jesantu says is 100% incorrect". I believe in the back of your mind you're aware of this. So take a moral stand for once. Share how you think this board has been to the detriment of the game. I could write heaps of stuff about what's wrong with the players and the community as a whole without any mention of the imms. I've made a few comments to that effect here in the past even. But then also demonstrate your humility and maturity by sharing what's actually good about this board. You see all the constant updates on the gdb now? The new role calls that haven't existed in probably over 15 years? The greater tolerance for criticism in gdb threads which for once actually carry on for pages and pages without being locked? You don't honestly think the admin grew up overnight and decided to turn over new leaves, do you? It took endless namecalling and exposing endless dirty secrets and many, many excellent RPers quitting or being banned for this to happen....which would all remain unknown if it weren't for this board.
