Ok now that we've established there's a fuckton of stuff that used to be in the game but ain't no more let's do the opposite and try to add to the list.
Again try to avoid commentary just list stuff off - this one might be harder for us cause most of us are all banned and shit and maybe not as sensitive to additions as subtractions. Go as far back as you like. I'll start.
Request tool Extended subguilds Mastercrafts Minor Merchant House process Reel code Packing bags added to mounts (I remember when this didn't exist so it counts) A shitload of magick functionality that halaster added Silt skimmers

It averages out to about 1 these changes per year, since 1999.

Rewriting Grey forest. Rewriting Gypsy Lands. Some additions to the Labyrinth to flesh it out better Some additions to Allanak to add some to it. Obsidian Dome of Allanak Reworking Akei'ta'var entire style and territory of play.
I'm not entirely sure if these are all good additions though, since it's all builder/storyteller work. Not new feature work.

Jkarr has the right of it by being sarcastic in his post. Technically you can list anything from anytime and have a list. What exactly is the point of this thread? Because if its to make Arm look better by "features" added it is ludicrous. Rooftops.. really.. something that any 10 year old can do with the DIKU OLC? Adding rooms does not equal adding a feature.

Adding rooms does not equal adding a feature. True dat. Things like Kuraci outriders requires imagination to implement. I guess adding rooftops does a little but you can see how it's not quite the same thing. So let's talk about what has been added to the game which requires actual imaginative power (flying spiders doesn't count). I repeat my earlier statements about the depth involved in the northlands. It lasted years of real time and was a multi layered, multi dimensional phenomenon. What today has been added which has any of these attributes? And I'm not even bashing anyone at this point, I'm genuinely asking the question cuz maybe there are new features/concepts which I don't know about. Doubt it but I'd be thrilled to be proven wrong. What I'm suggesting is that imagination and creativity have largely been snuffed out of the game. Doesn't mean it has to stay that way but that is the present state of affairs no matter how you argue it.

To me some of the good stuff about Arm over the years would be:
tdescs scars/tattoos (though I hate the code myself, it leads to ridiculous PCs being scarred up and tatted out which is unrealistic) change command (in general the change command has a bunch of great functionality added over the years) feel, semote, hemote. scribble
Plenty of other stuff depending on how far back you go. Arm is still a basic diku code though, not much has changed how it feels. Unlike Argila/SOI which don;t feel like DIKU anymore.
