What the fuck is wrong with Armageddon?

It doesn't help their numbers that so many players have become persona non grata and probably feel that they couldn't return to the game without being a pariah of the community. I've never heard of any MUD with as many rogue players as Armageddon. It is literally the only game of its kind that has an entire forum devoted to fugitive players. If their invitation to alienated veterans hadn't been so blatantly insincere, the numbers might have looked at least a little less bleak.

I got a, um, rather interesting app through, so um, I'm guessing they're trying to loosen their grip on old grudges. Might try it out, I don't know how it's going for anyone else, but it really seems like an effort is being put forth to turn over a new leaf.

I wonder if that's an indictment of the mistreatment to create such a grievances.

Or a testament to how good Arm can or has been.

Like, it's easier to leave an 'ok' game or a game you just found fun. (I'm reminded of my Dragon Realms days)

I'm sure some contrarian will find some reason to disagree but Arm has something of a character, perhaps in the setting, that allows one to over look the code and even administration in its worse to carry on.  To genuinely be upset when the feel marginalized or turn pariah in the community.  To wish they could play with out the specter of bad notes following their characters around.
