Nah, you can still do stuff that you want. You don't have to find her no more to get things done. The house leaders are placed there as a conduit to help push, move and create plots/conflicts/endings. Of course, it's always good to have a mountain backing than a pebble right? That is if you're looking for some political protection and stuff. We do that in real life don't we? Get in good with the boss so he doesn't give you a hard time or something like that.

Shit ton of plots right now, it's crazy. And.. OMG 2 role openings? The MADNESS. It only means that because lots of players die off in our player and staff driven plots. It's crazy right now. Think you can handle it? In addition for the Special App Format:

Having officially met someone/thing magic-y in game for the first time amidst the humans... I can say that I feel like it inspired the sort of reaction just in passing that I've not had even under half a death threat from a similarly nonmundane entity in other RPI's... seriously... that's how magick can be less than rare, but still be rareish to encounter (rather than just hear about), and be kind of excitingly horrific.
So... that was vague, but yeah... reasons. I just wanted to say that I picture that was like what normal arm players talk about when they say the arm magick seemed terrifying etc when they were newbies. Probably the funniest part is I HAVE played a nonmundane on EOE - like 3-4 years ago... so it's hardly my first brush with magic or even my closest encounter with it.

Just in case people want to try but isn't sure what a 'Sundown' is. Put it simply, they're very 'Jesus Christ-like'. And they are exceptional scouts and hunters, but they'd make terrible PKers. So currently, the clan has been run down by a lot of terribad PC leaders' decisions and actions, but fear not. You can be the change.

Kitty isn't a staffer, (s)he is a player. And I think it was more of his/her humor, than a critical jab kind of post.

Then I stand corrected.

Before I started playing, I thought Kitty was a staffer too. But I think it's more of a comment of how lethal the game is, even for a sponsored role.

I would say more like a cross between the Forsworn from Skyrim and Native Americans only with a MASSIVE cultural prohibition on killing people and a really fraught and fucked up history regarding the same. Other than fishing, I don't get the jesus part of the reference other than the wanting to feed and heal the sick and the poor kinda? But that's pretty common with indigenous peoples, to care for everyone and especially the weak and unable to do so themselves. >.<

Up to and including the head of the family having been referred to as Chieftain for the vast majority of the time humans have been playable.
About 1/2-2/3 of which, I've spent playing one.

They are also kinda political 'Jesus'. Slap both cheeks why don't ya? My patience is forever. Kind of thing.
