Do you sometimes wish staff would automate shit? Tired of waiting for rooms to be updated or a leadership NPC to do some seemingly easily automated task? Do you envy the elegance of the weather code on most games and wish they would do the same to other functions? You can read all the design and storytelling articles in the world, but at the end of the day you need to pick your codebase. Will it be softcode MOO, MUSHclient scripting language, a diku derivative, or something else? We have the game I used to staff on joining the ranks! So exciting for me but hopefully a good gaming choice for people looking for a fantasy game.
