Hey assclown, before I started this conversation, some of these fools were too damn dense to realize that it's fucking illegal to simulate sexual acts with minors. So take that shit elsewhere. I keep looking these scenarios up on legal advice forums and the answer seems to consistently be that a person has to have some reason to believe that the user on the other end was a minor in order for prosecution to happen.

Again, I'd like to point out that, at least in my experience, you have no idea who you're playing with. You're role-playing a character with someone else (anonymously) role-playing a character. How has this thread gone 18 pages?

I'm still confused as to how roleplaying a character on a mud where you have mudsex with another roleplayed character on the mud where neither party knows who the other is IRL is wrong, let alone a crime.
