And then he used his Tor noble to buy a Kadian wagon from his very own gypsy character, that I had stolen with another gypsy character. Hmmm. To make matters even more hilarious, Naephet charged Cidsarl with figuring out if the new Tor wagon, which had been repainted black, was the same wagon. As if you couldn't just take a look at that fucking wagon and know it was the stolen one. Tor still has that God damn wagon, too... Fuck you Bhag. 

And maybe after Bhag was sacked, she did her thing with Vedelarin Borsail, who was literally immobile through that entire character's life, AFAIK. Clegane played him. 

And I enjoyed RPing with Pearl... I think it was maybe Halaster or someone who told her my age because they had a thing going on OOCly?

Rhgt. but not to belabor the point, it's easy to say what it shouldnt be. But it's hard to say what would actually work in specifics.

Age verification by what mechanism?   I defy you to detail one that your average 14 year old couldnt beat, that wouldnt also keep any number of adults from participating.

I believe people on this board care about children.   I'd like to suggest your form of the argument lacks evidence of the offense, in an appeal to people who have only the ability to punish by withholding their participation in the game.   News flash... a sizable percentage of the readership is already doing that.

Looks like it could be difficult to prosecute, from my uninformed position.

Not to be condescending, but allow me to suggest you have only one of a few forms of recourse.

Make a better game than Arm that lures away Nyr's supporters, and deprives him of his kingdom.  Hope you code.
Accumulate evidence and get Nyr charged with some legal offense.  Hope you have some money, and no legal weaknesses they know about.
Convince Nyr that he should change his course of action.
Denial of service Arm effectively, without drawing a legal complaint.   Maybe use the attack as extortion to get Nyr to quit.
Stop caring about a niche game that is already dying.


Its a dirty, dangerous world, and almost all of us are guilty of violating some law.   I assert this isnt about not caring about the childrenz.  Its about having a solution to suggest when you ask people to get motivated to act.

I've said it a few times, but prosecuting people or going to court for any shit like that never even entered my mind when i wrote the initial post. I just wanted to put an unsavory aspect of the game out on front street for discussion. 

The people who have brought up suing and prosecutions and blah blah blah, well, that was some space cadet tomfoolery - nothing that I wrote. 

Which is exactly my point.  What.  Do you.  Want to.  Happen.  Now?
