Well there's 51 players currently i nthe world other than myself and an hour ago there were 8 people in the Gaj and I only recognized three of them. Doesn't look like anyone's running away. Maybe conspiracy theories about the armageddon or Armageddon are greatly exaggerated.

You mean like how bitterflash is concluding with his own theory of what to expect, even before the first wave of players shows up to state they left due to the change in staff? At least I waited almost 12 hours

What conspiracy theory? are you literally so incapable of followng even simple patterns that anything that involves more than two steps is a conspiracy?

I'll break it down for you, even in an uninsulting manner! just to make the point about what I'm seeing. Id love to call this another thread in some spider web of evil staff evil, but it's not. It's nothng resembling planning. The event is basiclly a signal that the people running the show are becoming more invested ina bad strategy instead of less.

Nyrs been running the show over there for a while now. (Or you could say he's been a tool of Adhira; really changes nothing if what he's done is at her behest, it just makes it more cumbersome to write.) He destroyed the Tuluki playerbase with his incredibly stupid plns, decisions, and retcons. Everyone fled to the south. Then he moved to the south, and the Nakki players could at least say to themselves, "If Nyr starts fuckng shit up Ill just play in Tuluk. And maybe then the staff will realize what a mistake theyre making letting him be an admin."

Now Nyrs running the show everywhere. So any hope the staff might reverse direction is gone. Any hope theres somewhere left to go if Nyr wrecks allanak is gone. Any illusions nyr has to concern himself with blowback for his behavior are gone.

But it really all comes back to this: the staff are entirely out of touch with the playerbase. And making Nyr a producer is a huge glaring sign the downward spiral is accelerating, to paraphrase my opening remrks.

Nyr was already basically a producer. Seems like an arbitrary distinction anyway. To be honest I am actually sort of happy for Nyr. I like seeing people get what they worked for. And Nyr, despite whatever people may say about him and the effect he's had on the game, has put in a lot of time and effort. I can respect that. Everyone deserves a small slice of happiness, and I'm willing to wager he's worked really hard to get to this point.

Sanvean was worse than Nessie to a degree words couldn't do justice.

He is a belligerent asshole, a bully and the very definition of small man syndrome, but this is projected to everyone around him, including members of the staff. A son of a bitch, but an equal opportunity son of a bitch. Sanvean may have had a better forum face, but would play favorites by the half dozen and rules would be conjured up, changed and dismissed based on mood, lunar alignment and if tampons happened to be available at the corner store or not.

Sanvean was responsible for more indiscriminate skill locks, skill boosts, character stores, characters slain via staff power, plot manipulation and staff / player / forum politicking than any other person in the games history.

The one person who has turned a genuine, financial profit off ArmageddonMUD? Sanvean.

Sanvean is the one and only member of the Armageddon staff that took to looking extensively into people IRL for the purposes of better isolating and punishing them for attempting  to circumvent bans.

Nyr is for all intents and purposes a lesser Sanvean, merely replacing her mental instability with an excess of compensation issues.

I'd take Nyr any day of the week over Sanvean and I'd take Nessie over both of them faster than you can snap your fingers.
