The Gaj will be burned down.
A new tavern will be opened in the commons with the same NPCs, the same offerings and the same theme, but with a different name. These events will be driven by a player created plot that just happen to accommodate certain members of the staff and their ham handed plans to run this shit into the ground.
A forum thread will be provided for dissatisfied players to discuss these changes. Complaints will be ignored and the complainers told to deal with it because fuck you, you irrelevant piece of player shit, your memories mean nothing.
Red Storm is closed.
Cenyr is closed.
Luirs is invaded and becomes Tuluk controlled, in order to better facilitate RP for both locations.
Tuluk and all it's territories are closed.
A new noble house, Gingar, rises to prominence in Allanak, known for their vast reserves of unrefined kankshit.
Clan play is now mandatory, rebellion results in immediate storage.
Due to the immense burden of creating items for players, the merchant guild will be closed.

legendary: that was impressively bitter. you trying to claim my title? All clans and areas are eliminated, save for Oash and its estate. Gameplay is streamlind so that everyone is part of a struggle between 2 - 3 sponsored noble roles. their goal is to be the next in line for promotion to a mid-level noble position that is unavailablr because staff. No one can kill each other; fighting is limited to snark and trying to get the other guy to realize how pointless everything is first to store the opposition.

All southern elves will be gathered up and killed ala the kenku race at the Dragon's ascension, citing 'Fuck tribes and thieves, those tea swilling northies can keep 'em both'. With this, the highlord is stripped of power/killed in an encounter that is not remotely public, and a council of four replaces him - the previous black robed templars. The four black robed templars begin an internal power struggle, settling with one ruling Luir's, one Nak, one the Rinth, and one Red Storm.
Not a real prediction but would be hilarious and interesting and a bit absurd, so why not put it out there, after the other prediction I made being followed up less than a month later with Raleris' public assassination and Cutthroat being made staff. I'll be damned, they merged the two after all and get double bonus maverick points for it.

magick is scrapped for the mud entirely in an rpt that everyone accredits to being player driven, but no one can find the players who drove it (bonus points, double-maverick style, if the players are real, but it's actually staff pcs who are doing this, so they can condense player driven and staff driven into the same plot, thus HALVING workload) from earlier post, @jenki.

Not like this? At least someone could win and buy extra stuff. I would totally wear that hat while playing my half-elf indy ranger.

muahaha, the ol' PP-18-27.031b. Streamlines the spontaneous use of the steal command, you know? But with a proper world response.

What will happen on Arm in 2015? My prediction: not much.
It might cross the threshold to player base collapse, especially if they hack away at Allanak.
I suspect that's what happened to Tuluk. The player base fell below being enough to sustain itself. There were still some diehard players hanging on there on the basis of past memories, but then they ripped the place up and even those left.
If the number of players in Allanak dips below a point where interaction becomes too difficult to find, the remaining players may more or less just give up.
