Akai Sjir do not truly worship the Templarate. They worship the templarate just about the same way as Akei'ta'var worships Bahamets. They're important, and they carry Muk's will, and it's best not to mess with them, or to have them on your side, but there is no particular 'love' of any kind. Bejeweled's hands of the Faithful is about the same as the love of Noble houses of the faithful. It is a 'very' common thing for every newly created noble who lives long enough to go through this progression: Blind Trust and Faith in the Faithful, Cooperation with the Faithful, Annoyance with the Faithful's meddling, ... Bahamets. Akai Sjir generally skips the first stage and starts with the second one.
For the record. Most Dealers who were around for more then a month were at odds with one templar, or another. Some people say Qoriya was overprotective of Akai Sjir. At least one Dealer dissapeared due to Qoriya and the other made an effort to curse, swear, and insult Qoriya in his unbarriered thoughts every time he met her. Qoriya somehow did not kill him, despite his pretty concrete opposition in variable things.
Akai Sjir do 'appear' to be worshipping Faithfuls, but hey that's Tuluk for you.
Again, for the record. If you consider the level of cooperation of Jaxa Pah with Naki Templars and Akai Sjir with Tuluki templars. One cant entirely say which one cooperates more. Granted, JP offed a Templar at some point, but the guy begged to be killed anyway.
Uniting all Merchant Houses into one House with Luirs as Capital, will probably result in another version of Tan Muark. It would be useful for others, since the orders will be processed easier, but I'm not so sure it will improve the conflict level of it. Then again, there isnt much conflict over it "now".
Would it really be possible, or at least 'easier' to create level of conflict with a united GMH? They would no longer be fighting over any type of resources (they do so to a 'very' limited extent now), it would all be just backstabbing each other over promotion? I dont know.
