@armqwertytwo: I just like tailor and jeweler subs the most because I can bling out my pc with them. Money making is secondary to free/low-cost 'swag' as the kids call it.
But yes, you can make scary amounts of money. I just never hoard it with my pcs. The only pc I've had with more than 5k at once was my Oashi whiran, Emere, who was subguild jeweler, and she straight gave 80% of what she earned to Lord Oash (including about 3k of the 5k) in order to try and help fund a building project in the gemmed quarter because plots.

If people want to discuss money someone please start a new thread or I will split this one off. I think it's an interesting topic and obviously a lot of people have good opinions/thoughts on it

Some of my favorites: Whiran/jeweler - hella money, and every market but tuluk to sell to vivaduan/scavenger - gives you search and climb, but also allows you to subsist for 0 sid and never have to enter a city if you know a safe-ish wilderness area because food foraging drovian/house servant - spymaster drov skills combine with house servant listening ability, also you can make templar's heart blossoms into beaucoup sid by crafting them at a high enough skill level rukkian/jeweler - highest forage skill in the game meets the cash cow of jewelrymaking merchant/scavenger - boost to starting forage, no need to fork out for food and water, branch your first tier crafts from forage more quickly ranger/tailor - sewing meets the ability to actually travel from market to market for profit I usually take a crafting sub if I don't have mainguild crafting. >.> Vivs actually can make food, 4th tier spell.

Yes, but if you're not racing to get to the deepest branch of the skill tree before 10 days played, it can be really handy.

A sub jeweler or tailor will be able to make easy money fairly easily regardless of class... Not exactly what I had in mind. I was hoping for more insightful tips/tricks. I suppose there aren't that many combos that give you tangible coded advantages.

Tailor gives you haggle, which is good for selling your goods, as well as anything else you are selling. You will need to go to red storm to get the cheapest materials starting out. The disadvantage of tailor is you have to buy the materials. You can make some serious cash, but it will take you a while to get started.
A jeweler just needs forage for materials. I've not played a jeweler myself, but I am pretty sure you can make some serious cash once your forage gets up there.

Locations as so: Tuluk: Tailor (cheapish fabric) Allanak: Jeweler (lots of different things can be made from obsidian which can be mined or found easily) Red Storm: Tailor (obvs, lol) Luir's: Much of the stone around Luir's sucks unless you're willing to chance heading to the span to greb. So really if it's Luir's, I'd go scav and survive off foraged food and created water until you're powerful enough to go greb cooler shit to sell for a higher markup thanks to the forage bonus.

Location dependent, really. Not a lot of places to sell jewelry outside of Tuluk/Cenyr/2-3 places in nak, but if you can find jade, you can make about 200/each for jade hairclasps. Red Storm is always easy for the fabric, Allanak the fabric's more expensive but doable - you may still need to supplement salting coin until you're journeyman at sewing though. Allanak definitely has more places that will buy clothes, and for more cash, than other areas outside Tuluk. If you're in Tuluk though, tailor all the way, the fabric is reasonable but not great priced, but there's a lot more vendors for clothes than jewelry (that will buy, at least).

A jeweler just needs forage for materials. I've not played a jeweler myself, but I am pretty sure you can make some serious cash once your forage gets up there. You will love it. My best income ever was a whiran/jeweler. Once she got fly and invis, she'd go around to forage spots, greb up a large bag full of good rock, and then head back to the Quarter and spend a few days in the temple, casting, jewelrymaking, and waying people, then spread the goods out to not just Allanak but Cenyr and Luir's and Red Storm as well. Over the course of a RL week without spamming anything, it's easily possible to make 8k sid that way, I'm talking making 2-3 jewelry items/IC day.

See I want to make a Krathi/Aggressor Would that be a Viable complement since I heard Sul hammers are the best, and aggressor gets slashing/(maybe pierce)

Sort of, but only if you're looking to be better at melee. Which you don't need to be really. Protector would end up being better. Krathi doesn't need more offensive power.
Personally, I love grebber/scavenger subguilds. They'd fit really well onto rogue magickers too.
