You're account Blizzard, if I recall correctly. Frankly, I have little idea about any of the characters you are talking about. I can tell you that you are one of two people who got a negative account note from me (The other was Bogre's spampeeking Akai Sjir). Because Wisp and Spirit were about the exact same character, including same guild and subguild if I recall right, and after Wisp died, you went and did the exact same thing down south, even down to the same 'change ldesc slouches against the wall here' ldescs. As to being force stored or suicided, I have no idea. I do know that you had 6 karma when you played Spirit, and that you got docked to 4 after a group of 3 other people monitored her and saw the same thing. I don't know who you are as a person, and I have no ill will toward you. I'm sorry about the ultimate end of the other pcs you're talking about, it sounds shitty and unpleasant, and I apologize for any hurt that any of it may have caused.
My husband played Mosannah the Tuluki templar, a bit before we separated, so I saw you a fair bit during his play, though you were playing Wisp for very little of the time I was on staff.

Well ... yeah. Those characters are pretty memorable. Spirit and Wisp were ... very similar in personality, in my opinion. One was Tuluki, the other Naki. But honestly, if I didnt know better, I would've thought Wisp infiltrated Nak and pretended to be loyal Naki. Spirit's main supporter, Dan's Templar was annoying. Too damn smart. Spirit's storage might've also been due to Dan's Templar fall. She rose up in ranks "very" quickly. Being promoted to Lieutenant within less then 6 months, or something like that. If I recall correctly. Though I will admit, I loved watching Spirit's gameplay with Bixan. Catalina was force stored when Ghost's Templar fell out of favor and her identity became known to ... way too many people, though I might be remembering the wrong psionicist on that one.
Shattered was fun. Interesting memories.

If only she had been a man. If I had known you, I could have called you Uncle Creepy.

Sorry, MMA reference there.
I certainly know who you are, as we've played together on several occasions in the past. While anaiah is correct that at one time you did have 6 karma, I too also read your pnotes and saw you'd been docked and Asami had been force stored. (I wasn't aware she had been killed, as you say).
Can you tell me more about Ankha's (Naatok's) mage group? I've been told she was Plainsman's daughter by staff, though is there any truth to that? What was it like playing with them, and how did you end up with Quick and Gin?
Edited to add: Maybe it was 4 karma, but I could have sworn your pnotes said 6. Eh, it's been a few years after all.

If that is the case, then you likely earned the karma during the time that you were playing and didn't notice or the like, because it was, indeed, 6 karma. As far as I can recall, they were back to back pcs, whether or not they were 2 years apart (I could swear they were months apart, if that).
As to the death of Catalina, if that is the case (I can't say it is, I don't believe she was found out, but I can say that special apps only account for 3 karma above your current level, and a psion is 8 karma, so favortism or you just did not notice the karma disparity from having 5 or more), that is the height of bullshit, given Nyr's highly branched psionicist bard in Tuluk. See, that's not documented anywhere as a legit reason to kill someone, or I would have had Nyr's tuluki psion force-killed. That's shit.
As to your last paragraph, definitely, and could not agree more. People should not be assumed to be OOC favored because IC competence creates favorable conditions. I'm sorry to hear any of that from the response to armqwertytwo, especially given that NIAMH had a long lived psionic AOD clerk a year or two before that and hers was not treated or handled that way. I'm sure everyone recalls Darcy/Darsellyn (sp?). >.>

Feel like we're ganging up on her. I've edited the post out. Personally, I enjoyed her character and loved watching some of her gameplay.

I really liked the concept behind Asami, and thought it was beautiful, interesting, and well played. Especially the dance scene in the wagon with Mosannah, and the various small conversations I'd heard about other players having with her. Oldways: I just want to clarify that I'm not trying to gang up on you or dogpile you or anything. Don't want you to wind up with the wrong impression. *Fades into the background again*

So how did the force-store/force-kills work? Did you come home from work one morning to find an email explaining your character had died as a result of some event or another? Or did staff animate an NPC and go through the motions of beheading you? I'd have probably been cussing in OOC if it's the latter.
Can you describe Shattered a bit, especially with the fighting the Dragon thing? Stuff like that is what drew me to the game in the first place, though it does not seem to happen anymore.
Edit: Dang, just in time. That shit sounds amazing. I've only ever been ankle-deep in any plots, and to imagine it can run that deep is crazy. While I'm at it, I take it pretty much every relevant magicker is ungemmed?

Ankha and Shattered had similar objectives and Ankha began a clan of elementalists living out of a tower near Xytrix Za with the objective of combating the Dragon and saving the world from defilers and other threats. That's the tower I'm referring to that went bye bye. From what I've heard, yeah, Venom and the Salarr expansion division were both cool.

theoldwaysI'm glad you came to join the boards here... It sounds like much of what were your best experiences were really while I was a total newbie or a little before. I always wanted to be able to do things like that when I got karma and hoped and tried so hard for it. It was disillusioning to say the least that the changes you were referring to with regards to players abilities to affect things and staff policy, etc, had happened by that time. Regardless of whether or not I got to personally do any of that, I'm glad that someone who did is here and willing to share, because seeing such stories disappear is, I think, a big part of the reason why the players have, for the most part, remained complacent and satisfied enough with the crumbs of world changing rp to stay the course with a sinking ship. It's nice to meet you, and I hope you find a lot of pleasant chances to reminisce and opportunities to interact with others and enjoyable friendships here.

The sense of loss and fear of loss around every corner. That's it, right there. That's why I played.

I remember meeting Wisp once, in Tembo's Tooth. I was thoroughly creeped out. Cool PC.

Shattered was a great character. I won't give away who I played, but we got into a whole mess of shit together quite a few times.

I was the one who named Wisp "Creepy", via my character Baron Taur, the guy who could see in the dark.
I'm perma-done with Arm (just boredom, moving on, not staff issues) and seeking spoilers, starting with, if the OP is still paying attention:
Could you give more detail on what happened in UT after my character died? What happened with that dorky half-elven sorcerer, the Purloiner? I can't imagine Wisp just let him lurk down in the tombs forever. Also, there was that mysterious sealed doorway halfway up the well. Anyone know what was behind it?
