What's even more awesome is that I emailed a perfectly reasonable explanation that was backed by multiple PC's for this one: * Rode out to join Mae (<redacted>) in the desert and forage stones. No IC coordinating to explain how he knew where and when to find her. Kinda suspicious. - 11/30/10
But did they bother to update that note or remove it or anything? Of course not.

Dargan's story, the quick run down: Started in Tuluk. Was an independent FOREVER. Wound up in Luir's for awhile. Then Allanak for awhile with an indie hunting group run by a dude named Louas. Kind of took over the group when Louas died. We had several apartments rented in Allanak for storage, sparring, etc. Eventually the group fell apart and I wandered the wastes with my wife's character Mae. Won the pit fights in Luir's once. Next time up, Red Meso KO'd his ass in one hit. Dargan was over twice Red Meso's age at that point. (Red Meso if you're out there, PM me man! or AIM me @ bergywarble!) Dwarven Warrior/Hunter and a Half-elf Ranger/crap I can't remember what her subguild was. Had a lot of fun exploring places I'd never been with a mundane before. Worked as a consultant for the Legions for awhile training people. AFAIK my message on the IC board in the Heart is still there about Dargan being a contracted out combat trainer. The mek skull Dargan and his half-giant buddy killed by themselves is probably still hung up over the doorway in there too. Around the same time I was consulting for the Legions or maybe shortly before, we began big game hunting. Meks, mets, horrors, ankheg. Dargan also at one point was running his own indie crew in Tuluk with the help of a few other PC's before the Legions thing, including a merchant. At the time he was a combat training consultant for house Kassigarh. We were trying to build a wagon - we had the resources, the coinn (the crew had about 50k sid in the bank at one point), a private, protected place to build it, a merchant that was starting to branch the required skills, unfettered access to study wagons inside and out through both Kurac and the Muarks who had both offered up their wagons for us to study. I got a "no because we don't want you to." from the staff. It was pretty sweet. Anyway, eventually joined officially into the Legions. Made his way from private up to eventually sergeant before I stored him. I saw Dargan just crumble before my eyes due to aging - when I stored him he was half the dwarf he used to be. His physical stats had all noticeably significantly dropped and his wisdom had not once visibly increased, as was supposed to be the case. I emailed staff a couple times asking if this was correct and was told "Yup. Just keep on truckin'!". But I got tired of watching the poor dwarf wither in front of me, and after 4 years I was ready to move on to something else. Well..that didn't wind up being a very quick run down. But there ya go.
