Lol. That would be interesting. I only played with him once that I knew/ could recall, with a HG of his. There was no attempt to tone down his intelligence. He was one knowledgable giant!
I can't speak to this part.

Hell, X-D could probably conquer half the known with a merchant/Movement Magicker.
Too bad he's only got 2, 3 karma max because he's such a horrible twink. Trust me, I've seen his pnotes in full.
While that may be true, (and it is, there was actually a joke someone else made over immcomm that Lash finally branched 'goto', the staff skill) he at least usually uses the skills wrought in an interesting and/or amusing fashion that involves other players. And I say this as someone who rage quit for a month over the way he handled the pk he did with my first magicker.
You're being too nice Anaiah. I mean, this is the guy who made rukkians with another member of this board who continued to swap room reach with each other's pcs after one would die. He deserved to have his karma docked.

How many years ago was this, though? Isn't one of the (many)issues had with staff here that there is more or less too long a memory and that mistakes from years ago can be and still are held against players? He may have done that in the past, but it was never something I witnessed and if it was, indeed, room reach, I know it was years ago, because it is all but nonexistant, if not actually nonexistant in game currently. His pk of my first vivaduan, he had never met her, she never saw him, and he followed her out of Luir's to the area of the Blue Caverns and sapped her unconscious in one round, killed her the next, in under 15 seconds, with no roleplay and no emote of any kind, not knowing her at all, and having been hidden in the room, waited until she came out and watched her take 3 casts to fill a skin of water before striking. Needless to say, I was so pissed I left the game for a month. That was before his time with the Red Fangs. I can say as someone who watched the scene where he was killed and got a good look at his skill list, he could have murdered the everloving fuck out of tons of people with those stats and skills, and didn't, which to me, showed not only a willingness to be more cooperative with players, but also that he was willing to adhere to the documentation, when he opted to raid rather than kill in most cases. That said, the Red Fangs did need to be curtailed somehow, and it is very hard to find a way to fix that, because all 3 players running that circus were code heavy on the play, and if someone boosted another pc's stats to have been able to combat that in any real way, there would have been cries of favoritism so it was a damned if you do (let it go, because they wound up in a scenario that pushing as hard as they did with their pcs was absolutely within the realm of how those characters would have acted) and damned if you don't (because if someone else had been given more help in killing them, it would've come off as playing favorites), so they stayed that way until the Sun Runners took 'em down. I don't know, it's a thing. I think XD -can- be the worst, but he can also be pretty great, and I've both seen, and played with, both.
nile: the only apoc drama be on an arm drama website. lol

nile: almost guarantee arm staff are LOVING this. hahaha. long as the game is good fun it's all a bit irrelevant. but the anti-arm crew giving the arm staff some sense of schadenfreude based purely a forum for whining made me lol

nile: Also, been playing Arm again on an alt account (omfg their ban was easy to get around...and tbh i have more fun in apoc)

vex: Bans are irrelevant, and pointlessly antagonistic. The only game I play, where staff address problems with aggression, bans, and down talk, is Arm. The rest have realized, all that results in, is a bitter player, more inclined towards "revenge" play.

vex: Better to incentivize ideal play and behavior, than try and fail to intimidate and leverage empty threats, because nobody is intimidated by an angry elf fetishist on the internet, and there are virtually no threats a player can't circumvent, easily.

baobob: Arm turned to condemnation, punishment and vengeful retribution against players pretty hard long, long ago. Never turned back.
