What if Hawk wasn't a Nilazi? What if Hawk pissed off a Nilazi?
Lol we may never know.
Still a silly fucking thing to do. Tuluk sucks anyways, they did that player a favor.

I don't believe he was a Nilazi. Tuluk changed their mind from supporting him for some reason.

Geezus. That's how rumors get started. Forever more, Hawk will be believed to have been a Nilazi who tried to find shelter in Tuluk. "facepalm"

Tuluk killed him after making him a citizen. Whaaaaat? That's sort of like saying "Tuluk killled him after baking him a pie" or "Tuluk killed him after knitting him a sweater". Goodfellas style, then? youtu.be/LlQCW02Tbxc?t=1m13s

Basically EXACTLY like that. Except they actually made Hawk first, from what I hear. (He was last seen sitting in the Sanctuary with fresh tatooes on his hands.)

I don't understand the vloran. The language you speak to the dead? How is that used?

IIRC it's dragon tongue, though I can't be certain of that. I believe elementals and some templars are capable of using it as well. Generally it's used to converse.

I think you're confusing Vloran for Tatlum, Lulz.

I think you're confusing Vloran for Tatlum, Lulz. I'll be damned if you ain't right. That's what being rusty does to ya! To address the question once more, I've played a number of nilazi and never once used to language. FWIW.

You need Vloran for the Speak to the Dead spell. If I remember the name of the spell correctly. You also need Vloran to scare the fuck out of people skill.
All in all, it's just something really cool to have. Nilazi really suck as loner mages. They are hated and feared, but probably have the most utility for grouping mundanes. In a sense, Tuluk should frigging legalize Nilazi guild in their city. As long as they're properly brain washed so they dont go too alien on them, or start body snatching.
But anyway, my point is that using Vloran as a way to bring together a secretive cult/group of mundanes in alliance with Nilaz is one awesome thing when it happens.

IIRC it's dragon tongue, though I can't be certain of that. I believe elementals and some templars are capable of using it as well. Generally it's used to converse. You're thinking of Tatlum. People used to summon elementals and force them to talk to them in tatlum, then branch tatlum as a result and it was removed from the elementals. That gibberish they're speaking at you? It's sirihish at 1% skill level.

So when an elemental starts talking, you hear them say, in sirihish, "elirr ezllr prppa ur?"

I don't know if it shows up as that because of their language skill levels, I'm not sure how that part of the code works, but I can tell you that I have loaded all the elementals that can be summoned by a player and none of them have tatlum anymore. Also, there was a discussion about it on the IDB before it took place.

So back to Vloran? Does it have any use? It just a language your animated corpses speak? Is there any reason to use it other than maybe to talk secretly to other nilazi?
Also what is the difference between the portal and the travel gate?
