For all the documentation, it is basically a PK mud. You have played a pk mud, right? I have, and this is nothing at all like that. Frankly, Arm is much closer to a pk mud than EOE, but thanks for flaming playing. |

Didn't even know there were voting links. I'll vote now that I have them. I just searched it out on both and followed the link from the mud listing once I found it. Been voting as much as possible myself, though I'd be plenty happy to see it never make page 1, since clicking on to the next page shows you're really looking for something anyhow, but I definitely want to at least try and keep them in the top listings to be stumbled across by likeminded people.  |

There was someone running amok but I think he got squashed and they tweaked the code that he was abusing to kill PCs in the game.
There crim-code needs to be more harsh.
Other than that there is good roleplaying happening at the game. I can post logs if you want but I'm not going to jeopardize the story for your desire for justification.

There may be role playing going on. But meh, nothing really interesting. I've seen a lot of I don't like you, I'll kill you!
The player culture is so disfunctional I can't suspend disbelief.

To me that is what makes it worth investing in. I feel like my logging in and playing my character makes the game a better place. If I can bring one aspect of the world alive thru my characters beliefs, passions, intentions, hatreds, racism, or whatnot - mission accomplished.
I don't worry about what other players are doing (unless they are abusing code) because I can't change the way they want to play their PCs. I can only affect myself and those who choose to play with/around my character.

I've not seen that once with the exception of a single problem character, and that was addressed.
In fact, it's actually the exact counter to the documentation, and other than that singular individual and someone who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time...I've not seen or heard of a single pk happening. Which is in line with the documentation about killing being tacky, nonsensical, and usually a last resort unless you wind up being the hired assassin.
I'm not sure what you mean by 'player culture', the culture of the people playing? The IC culture of the settlement? What? Because that entire sentence is just confusing to me.

Yeah, my last pc was in the Grey Company, and there was a total of 1 person doing anything like that, which was just... awful with the way it was done, but hardly something to qualify the game as some kind of pk arena. Which is good and makes sense for a setting where there's like... 1 city of people (and not a large one at that) which is almost if not all that remains of humanity. |

They're over in the elf settlements doing elf stuff, as far as I can tell. Since elves and humans are at odds, kinda, I'm not really keen to like... check up on the details of it in the game, but... I understand Tow and Shae are still options if you wish to play an elf and email with staff to arrange for it.
