I think I'm one of the very few RPI players that would feel uncomfortable with constant Staff watching me and interacting with me all the time. It's not that I want to be able to twink and cheat without being watched, it's just that I don't know, I'd feel like I'm constantly facing stage fright or something, like I need to be at my best 24/7. It's why I don't really play on RPI muds with a small playerbase and Staff base.

It's more along the lines of having immortal triggers that show us when you're in specific areas of the game (taverns, ambush points, bad places) so we can go "Hey, he may need to run into something." Or, if we figure out that you're a classic explorer type, we try to seed your adventures with McGuffins or other interesting things. Or using npcs to guide you to others of a like mind. It's not quite so 24/7 invasive, it's just backdrop.

Oh, that sounds pretty cool actually. I wonder if Arm has triggers like that, like when people enter the 'rinth or something (I know they have triggers for when people die, so that Nyr can pop in and laugh at them (just kidding, I love you Nyr!)) or like when the words "soft breasts" are used, so that if an Imm goes to watch the PC in question, there's a trigger that pops up and says, "Nah, dude, you don't want to go watch that PC right now, trust me."

Nah, there's really no other reasons to play a Drovian than to watch people mudsexing, so once you go into that role you already know what you're signing up for!

there's nothing LEFT down there. it's actually the grave of a vivaduan that was killed, if I recall correctly.

It's not so much a matter of constant watching, that is just impossible to do. In addition... you know how when you're hanging out in the stands of the arena, flicking things at soldiers, you get echoes from other rooms? Specifically, each room in the stands is set up to echo stuff happening in any of the rooms from the arena floor, but only from the floors to the stands, with some flavor text to say which floor room it was? You can set up your staff room receive echoes like that with any room s in the game.
