You know. My favorite thing in ARM is when you get to like, fuck people over, but no one would ever suspect that you did it, so you can quietly think about it. Not even the act of fucking them over, but the afterwards, where you're sitting in a bar, thinking to yourself while people talk about whatever it is that you know you caused and you just nod curiously, making nice with people.
Like once, there was a dude, who was an aquaintence with my dude. And this dude told my dude that he was going to kill some people, whom my dude was engaged in secret and illegal money-making and other such business with. Now, my dude didn't really consider this dude a threat versus the other dude. And he in fact didn't take this dudes threat seriously. It was more an idle threat than anything. But my dude was annoyed this dude would even suggest interrupting his business.
So, my dude was like, "Oh, well. Be careful then, or whatever. Then I wayyed the business dude, and was like, FYI, this dude is coming for you so if you see him, you should probably axe-murder him immediately before he causes trouble. Even though my dude pretty well knew that this dude wasn't serious about his threat.
One RL day later. The dude is dead and his death turns out to be very public. Everyone is speculating on it, wherever I go.
"What did he do I wonder? Why did that happen? Why would anyone kill that dude?"
And my dude was just like..
>think (detached and jaded) Nobody jokes about fucking with my coins, that's why.
>say (lifting their shoulders in a shrug, buying another round) He must have done something. Anyway, thirsty?
I love playing villains.
But I digress. The moral is, don't tell people about your murder plans. Even if they are super generic with innocent reputations.
