Be mindful of your timers.
Remember that anything less than a neck shot when using archery is considered a partial fail. You only need three partial fails or so to actually notch a skill point.
Throw is SUPER easy to max and is quite powerful as well.
Practice dual wield on high agi animals, or spar regularly. You can also branch parry from etwo, but you'll need to send in a request once your skill hits master.

What level to rangers weapon skills verbally go to? Will it hit master or only advanced?

Dual wield definitely goes to master. I'm not so sure about the other weapon skills.

Since rangers were nerfed the weapon skills reach 70 (advanced)

It would appear that 'st' means 'start' (aka your skill level when you first have the skill and have never upped it at all), and 'go_on' indicates the level you branch at.

Why does every skill have a "go on" point, when most of the skills don't branch anything?

It seems all skills branch 10 points before their cap, so I'm assuming the coder just applied a blanket "go on" point of MAX-10 to every single skill instead of going through the lists and doing it one by one.

This, or some other type of code conformity. As far as weapon caps, as far as I know Warrior piercing/slashing/chopping/bludgeoning maxes at 70 as well (80 for the advanced skills), which would indicate that a ranger COULD max them. The grain of salt here is that I have no idea if my warrior list (or this list) is current, and I've never had a maxed out ranger to verify...

People almost never max their weapon skills, anyway. Even just branching from them (i.e. getting to 60) is nearly impossible and tends to take at least 30+ days. The last points would very likely take another 70 days or something.
