Yeah, wisdom boosts every perception skill. Scan, listen, peek, forage and hunt. I think that's all of them.
Wisdom spice will boost your wisdom, but it might not hit the next breakpoint for perception.
16: +5 (top end of human very good) 19: +10 (human exceptional) 22: +15 (probably elven exceptional) 24: +20 (probably elven AI)
So unless you already have pretty high wisdom, you're not likely to get anything out of wisdom spice. Since wisdom does so little compared to the other stats, characters that are actually able to make use of high scan generally won't want to prioritize wisdom. It was kinda nice for merchants back in the day since they got 90 scan and had no real use for physical stats, so it would help them spot would-be assassins and thieves.
Now, the only classes that get master scan are miscreant, stalker and.. fucking laborer. You might be able to get away with being a miscreant if you're playing a noble or sponsored GMH agent who never needs to do any crafting, but you'll have a hard time getting hired as a merchant with these classes. And even if you are playing Agent Dicknose as a miscreant, you should probably prioritize agility to make your stealth dependable and endurance to hedge against one-hit kills.
Prioritizing wisdom is such a big sacrifice for absolutely minimal gains, since you won't detect elves or anyone with +stealth gear anyway.

I'm not convinced that there's any gear that raises scan or listen. What would that even be? X-ray goggles and hearing aids? Some bullshit sunslits gave like +5 to scan once upon a time. But there were several different versions of them (I think ivory sunslits, but *not* polished ivory sunslits...some BS thing like that), and most were worthless. Glass sunslits used to give like +2 IIRC. But they got rid of those for some reason (blah blah, Arm technology doesn't support it, blah blah give me my kanks back).
