Because you're insulting the experiences of another, which is how you got shat on on the GDB, normally I wouldn't care, for example, when you shat on me. But Kronibas is another story, and I happen to disagree with that. Granted, you won't get banned unless you do something crazy stupid here, but I'd ask that you show respect for an ex-marine, ex-professor.

I was playing off his comment, to point out the absurdity, of staff snooping whilst playing.
I'm thinking, the only person who took it as insulting, or offensive, is you.

Perhaps I was too quick to judge, unsure, but I do think Kronibas is an exceptional human with a big heart and I don't like it when it seems like people are attacking him.

He was right though grumble, that rabbit hole was a lot deeper.
What’s unfortunate is that it was still going on even though the bhag-halaster avatar shenanigan talking points have been beaten to death - not only here, but everywhere... for a long time. I mean, in terms of blatant fuckery, this seems like one of the top 3 rules to not screw around with. And I mean, with the way the atmosphere is these days... did they actually think this wouldn’t come to light? Obviously so.
Like, why wouldn’t you just exclude staff PCs from that imposed cap unless you were pointedly trying to defraud players into thinking that there was more opportunity to play one of these classes than was actually available?

No, they should not. Sometimes leaders should be content to serve.
To go a step farther into this, its hypocritical to insist on glass ceilings and karma role caps, and then skirt those rules yourself.

If you choose to be a leader to flex your ego, then you're no leader. If you choose to be a leader to serve the cause and enrich the lives of those around you, then you are a true leader.

Also, I just want this clarified, do staff avatars truly count toward caps of a certain guild now? If so, that's utter bullshit. They should be playing mundanes to get "in touch" with the game, because that's what most people play. When I play a character I barely have enough time for one, I can't imagine having five, or trying to staff while trying to play 1.

Yes, it should be outside of the player limitations of how many at a time, still restricted and highly scrutinized for all those points needed for three karma yatayata. If you've made staff then your RP should be plot driving, non grieving. If some of the best RPers join staff don't banish their playing. If they abuse it, take away the privilege.
