There are certain stones (certain grainy ones, and one or two smooth ones) which can be used to create basic red, white and blue dyes. Other colors can be made from combining colored dyes and others are made from plants.

Buy one blue and one yellow dye packet and craft them into two green dye packets, or use whatever colors you want. Avoid making orange dye because it isn't very useful.
