Hi,
CrusadeRPI takes place in a fantasy world where it is a largely accepted fact that the power of any given deity is proportional to the amount of belief in them or the amount of worship they are currently receiving. Players will take on the roles of mortals or pretender gods, all warring against one another to become the one true god. Meanwhile, mortals fight among themselves, some hoping to earn the favor of their Gods in pursuit of peaceful co-existence while others muster their courage to confront the supernatural beings they believe responsible for their suffering. I'm still in very early ages of development but

FAQ
Why?
Because it's my dream game. My inspiration originally came from: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_%26_White_(video_game)
Nice freeweb nerd, mom wouldn't let you use her credit card?
The website will graduate from a free one into a premium paid site once I'm closer to opening.
What engine are you going to be using?
At first I thought I was going to be using OpenRPI but I've really taken a liking to Evennia. One of the drawbacks is I'm not overly familiar with Python, but I'm told it should be easy enough to learn.
Reading through the documentation there's also a guide on turn based combat. Which is something I'd love to be able to implement.
Are Gods omnipotent? Can they be killed?
Gods will be more like they're described norse/roman pantheon with varying levels of power. An irrelevant God that no one cares to worship could be overpowered by a few mortals while one with many worshipers will be a force to be reckoned with.
Do you plan to have many restrictions?
Nope. One of the main things I want is to give players the power to be able to do almost anything. You can be the king of your own empire or you can run your own bar in a lawless ghetto. Both of which will most have likely come into being through PC actions.
I've got this really cool idea. Are you open to them?
One of the advantages of using an original theme is you can add anything if it drives RP. If you've got an idea you really want to see included, feel free to post about it and I'll most likely try to work it in.
How soon will it accessible to players? Are you looking for help?
I'm still in very early stages of development but I'll post updates as they come. It's the first time I've taken on a project this size so I'd rather err on the side of caution rather than commit to a certain time-frame. Any help would be appreciated. I can be contacted at CrusadeDev@outlook.com if you have general queries or would like to get involved.
