Any and all invited, good or bad rep. You don't wanna go through the struggle alone and are worried about the learning curve? Just let me know. I'll see if I can set you up in a clan with someone who'll help you out. The game's great, and the staff are pretty clear on everything they do. I've already had a 50 day + character nuked and I'm still jumping back into the grind, if that says anything.
As numbers grow, it's only going to get better.

The Quest for Wealth!s Everyone knows what wagons are for! Travel and trade! This is a rollcall for those bold enough to try something new . Esos is an RPI - the big difference between this, and others, being there is no glass ceiling. You could become King if you wanted. You could destroy the world. Esos has a lower playerbase, so there will be some downtimes, but it always picks back up. You can learn any skill in this game, like a normal person, you are affected by weather, (if it's too cold, you'll get sick and die, too hot, thirsty, WAY too hot, you burst into flames), you have to eat and drink. The economy is player-driven, everything you do has an effect on the game world! A little preview of New Kaiden. New Kaiden - the city you will be starting in, as a human. New Kaiden is the human city, formerly owned by dwarves who, (are pretty much extinct). There are five factions, being Nadu, Kavka, Sundown, Kaden, Avasar. They are called enclaves, and would be a step between merchant houses and noble houses in arm. They are a rank above average citizens, (insulting them is a crime), but are subject to the law just as anyone else. The city is run by council Members from each respective enclave, (all of whom are pcs) and they are basically templar status. There are multiple races, dwarves, elves, humans, goblins, duxthu, all with their own culture, and there is currently many changes, including new races. db.eoemud.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1222You can make an account for the forums to browse and what not. Mundane classes: Ranger, warrior, thief, assassin, merchant. Magical: Guardian, shaman, diabolist, warlock, druid What this rollcall would be: Do you like political warfare? Maybe social interaction with multiple different races? Maybe you've an artistic twist, and you like contributing to the game world and adding flavor, or to be mentally challenged where each step or word you make, is like a chess piece, being moved? Or do you like adventure, suspense, to hack and slash, shoot and scout your way around? Then hear out one of my three roles I have available for you. Merchant: (start class merchant) You will be working for Kavka - the premier enclave for all wares involving armor, weapons, and the like. You will be shown the ropes by an experienced veteran, to know how to survive, grasp eoe, and enjoy it. This role will involve a TON of social - and potentially political rp (with multiple races), as well as alot of character building opportunities. Obviously, your primary duty will be to make arms and armor for Kavka, but you'll also be a part of a crew, which will be traveling all 25k+ rooms of Esos, working for Kavka. What doesn't sound fun about YOU being a major part in making/advertising/selling Kavka's wares across multiple cities in the world, as well as being responsible for setting up deals/trade/connections if you're the ambitious sort? You will be the face of this operation, as well as the backbone. And if that doesn't interest you, Kavka is currently on the rise. They have ongoing projects in which a role like this - would enjoy the benefits of such. You will have access to a tradecraft school (brand new, being built), allowing the character to really pursue what they want - opportunities to invent, construct, and alter the world as we know it. Hunter: (simply start off as class ranger) You will be working for Kavka - the premier enclave for allpw ares involving armor, weapons, and the like. Shown the ropes by a veteran, you'll be given the chance to form an opinion for yourself about esos, instead of having an uneducated first impression of the game. The best part about this, is you're working for the enclave who owns all rights to sell armor and weapons. Obviously, you'll be getting discounts and even free gear. You can make an enclaved Kavka, or a normal citizen, it is up to you. Your primary duty - to hunt lands various, and bring in ore from mines. You'll be shown how to hunt and survive, and not die out of chargen, given everything you need to excel. However, in time, you'll take the next step as a part of Kavka's crew, and operate as a scout, when the crew departs New Kaiden on their adventure. you'll hunt, explore, and report back, keeping the wagon well-stocked, and safe from ambushes. This is an opportunity for alot of social rp, but also alot of character building/exploration. Guard: (start class warrior) You will be working for Kavka, hired on as muscle. Your primary duty, protection of the merchants, and the wagon from harm. Trained to be the toughest, equipped to be the hardiest, and given a chance to make money, explore the world, combat rpts, and even hunting, if you want. The only difference between this, and hunters, is that you will primarily be required for combat/protection, expected/trained/payed to do just that, while the hunters - will be primarily required to hunt and scout. I figure by now you've figured it out. Yes, you will be part of a teamstering, hunting crew that will travel from the north pole to the south pole of this game, you will get every chance to explore the many different cultures, mysteries, beasts, and yet unknown lands, trading, selling, buying, hunting, and fighting, eventually to return home and reap in the RICHES! You'll get every chance for combat, politics, social rp, as well as a chance to shape your own destiny within esos. There is no glass ceiling, so get to thinking! you can pm me here for more details.

And you had to go and make it a specific rolecall, heh. If you're off put by that at all, feel free to look over the various groups. There's five families of the hand, each with their own unique behaviors, and attempts at life and exploration.
The Kavka - Traditionally Smiths/Traders (Lately expansion into hunting,) The Sundown - Traditionally peaceful tribal people (Lately more gritty, all about hunting/hides - The Underdogs) The Kaden - Soldiers and military folks (Enough said) The Nadu - Picture everything that is money. Now throw tons more money at it. You've got Nadu. (They have hunting/diplomats going on, evidently) The Avasar -Savage tribals turned civilized, with merchanty/hunty stuff mixed in. (Kill your boss and you get his position. Woops. Not quite as civilized as advertised.)
