Anyone know how high bandage skill goes up on physician? Whenever I had the skill people would run away when I tried to use it. So it never got that high. seriously I think all subguilds go up to advanced.

Anyone know how high bandage skill goes up on physician? My experience has been Advanced, which is a shame because if you read the docs, you wouldn't realize that a Ranger has the best bandaging skills in the game.

I think I read somewhere you needed master to bandage someone who was unconscious? Or perhaps the skill at advanced and a really good bandage (in each hand or maybe some kinda of tool) can do it?

I wouldn't attempt to bandage someone who is too jacked up with advanced bandage. It's still a little too faily at that level to me.

Having played a combat medic type what I did was go with the Byn. Tell them off my profession and get permission to push battles until I would beed a bandage. Sure first times was a bieeeetch but it got so easier and I had it either in advanced or master. I don't remember but I could bandage even the mortally wounded as well as craft special bandages with herbs. It was a good roll. I might go combat medic again. Warrior may not be as uber as ranger but a Warrior/Physician in a combat support role makes for awesome gameplay and roleplay.

When you play in the Byn some people run out when you want to practice bandaging on them. They're alright with twinking, but won't let you skill up bandage. Of course some people are good with it and know you're probably going to mess up.

Take a blow to the head wearing a padded chitin helmet with a sparring club, probably not bleeding at all. "Bandage" won't help ICly, only codedly. Give the injured a chance to RP the injury, maybe they want to try first before you pounce on them with the bandage. If my PC is hurt bad and is bleeding ICly not just codedly they'd probably beg for a bandage and some RPed stitches maybe or something. If they have a big bump on the head or a bruised hip then they'll get drunk and sleep it off.

We're not talking about top notch role players that do this. The top notch role players let you do it, because it's the right thing to do and because they know they might be able to squeeze that extra session in. These are the type of guys that log off after you beat them in a sparring session two times in a row. Just because it's a dick move. I'm talking about the guys that get their ass whooped to poor health and everybody yells at to either get bandaged or go to the npc doctor and they say dumb shit like "I want to feel the pain".

Ugh I've seen a couple of those types who reject bandaging for no good reason. Mostly I don't see that though. Most of what I see isn't top-notch rpers just normal players. Sometimes the noobs don't set their prompt and don't understand that they're codedly in bad shape when you tell them icly that they look like they're dying or something. Never had anyone quit out to avoid getting bandaged though yeah that's a dick move.

Best use it on yourself by pushing (with Sergeant's permission) Once it skills up yo Journeyman most people will then let you bandage because it saves plenty of time.
