All I know about poisons.
General posion: A faint, shiny sheen of grey You feel burning poison in your blood, and suffer. Slow hp drain. Caused by: cilops (soft yellow gland) - grasslands, grey forest a light-brown curved fruit - scrubs a scattering of spotted leaves Cured with: crumbling red tablet
Grishen: A faint, shiny sheen of yellow Sweat rolls down your face as your temperature rises, and you feel tired. Slow stamina drain, sleep if it drops to 0. Your sweating ceases as the poison exits your veins. Caused by: a handful of yellow chedya stems - Bluffs northeast of Luir's Cured with: small yellow tablet
Terradin: A faint, shiny sheen of black Makes you vomit, eventual death when your stomach empties Caused by: a cluster of brown berries - Northeast of Tuluk, northern edge of forest Cured with: a translucent green tablet, causes visions must chase it with a grainy yellow tablet
Peraine: A faint shiny sheen of greenish yellow Causes paralysis. Caused by: a jade colored gland (kryl) Cured by: purple tablet - UNVERIFIED
Heramide: Caused by: a handful of small black seeds X2 (Must brew a tablet) a powdery black tablet - brewed by the seeds above Cured with: chalky blue tablet: Supposedly paralyzes, can be deadly made with: (faint bluish tint) circular, blue-green leaf (found southwest of skeet den, atop the rocks)

It does have a leaf form that you can apply to certain weapons.

Stiff grey leaf. You can find them heading up towards the mountains east of Tuluk, on the eastern side of the thornlands. Be prepared for kryl. But once you get past the kryl...there's a pair of plants..I think they're bushes? You can attack them and skin them once dead, and they'll yield some of those grey leaves. If you don't know about how to get there - there's only one place that leads towards those mountains, and it's in the northern half of the rocky hills.

So, in the helpfiles:
Methelinoc: An extract from the popular spice of its namesake, this poison is deadly. Rumored to be used primarily in elven tribes, no cure is currently known to combat its slow death dealing properties.
I've had a bunch of long-lived characters, but almost exclusively Warriors... I've never seen this in-game, anywhere, or heard of anyone using it. Do you guys know anything about this poison, or do you even know if it actually exists?

I've heard of northern templars using it for public execution. They forced the person to drink poisoned wine, and everyone watched them die.

I've never seen it. I can only imagine how hard it is to come by, judging by the hoops you gotta jump through to get heramide.

Is it true that you codedly build a resistance to poison over time, when exposed to poison?
If so, do you build a resistance for ALL poisons, or just that specific poison?
Are you able to train that resistance, just like offense and defense?

You do build a resistance to poison, though I'm unsure if it's all poisons or just the specific type. I -think- they're for different poisons. You can train that resistance as well by getting poisoned.

If you're actively practising poisoning, you're going to end up with decent poison resists. Unless you're poisoning without cures. Then you're just going to end up dead.

I used to practice with chedya stems, so I wouldn't have to waste cures. You just end up sleeping for a while once it fully takes you down.

I've heard of Meth used, but never had it in game. And only a vivaduan can cure it.

Nah you can only poison piercing/stabbing and the weapon can't be like a huge piercing spear it will say it is too big or some shit. I think this is accurate info I have limited experience with poison just on my rangers really.

I know there were some longknives in game that were classified as stabbing-- until you branched slashing. I think you could "flip" them into razors or uberknives or something like that.
Didn't have an opportunity to play with them for long, but I'm pretty sure they were poisonable.

To everyone who claims nothing is ever added to Armageddon, I have good news... The Soh Lanna Kah RPed out creating the cure to Metholonic poison. It was added to the game during the tenure of Lusts for Blood and the recipe was preserved in the form of a song. However after one of the original group that knew the recipe died and started creating the poison in allanak, Nyr stepped in removed the song and there is a pretty serious OOC restriction on anyone making it outside the Soh Lanna Kah since it would be next to impossible to guess the recipe (which I was never told).
Meth exists, it has 5 ingredients, they all come from the tablelands except the spice portion, and the cure is something I don't even know anything about but was made first. Whether any active SLK know the recipe is unknown, it's one of those things staff have locked to an NPC gifting to you if you earn it if you didn't know it from a previous character.

Ah I take back my previous post. yoiu can poison slashing weapons if its a small knife. There is a knife around you can poison thats slashing I think its a hooked knife or a spike-hilted longknife. Really anything that is slash/pierce/stab (has an edge or point) that is small can be poisoned basically.
